True Story Gee is the first artist signed to the RARE Sound Label. First emerging onto the scene as a member of A1 SuperGroup - whose “Everywhere We Go” ft. K Camp made waves in southeast US markets. Now with a more mature sensibility musically, Gee has started to release new music gaining viral traction with Rare Sound debut mixtape Shannon's Boy. His Trap 4 Her mixtape released in February 2018 to acclaim reviews. 2020 proved to be a breakout year for True Story Gee as released his biggest solo effort to date, Trap Melody Kid.
